I care for you… You care for me… We care for each other
Healing Maryland, One Heart at a Time
At Roberta’s House, we help children, youth, adults, and families grow from pain to find purpose. Here, individuals of all ages find solace in knowing they are not alone in their grief. Families come together in a compassionate, supportive environment led by dedicated volunteers and professionals, where they can share their emotions, memories, and stories.
Our programs are uniquely designed to address the diverse circumstances of loss, including homicide, infant death, death due to substance use disorders, and the specific needs of men through specialized support groups.
Children participate in age-appropriate activities that help them recognize and express their emotions, while adults engage in meaningful group discussions and gain access to vital resources that guide them through the grieving process. This holistic approach strengthens family bonds and fosters open communication, allowing loved ones to heal together.
Additionally, our Behavioral Health Program provides therapeutic mental health services for individuals and families aged five and above, ensuring that both children and adults receive the support they need on their journey toward healing.
At Roberta’s House, we believe that grief should never be faced alone. Together, we heal—one heart at a time.
