I care for you… You care for me… We care for each other

We help children, youth, adults and families grow from pain to find purpose.

At Roberta’s House, people of various ages, from children to adults, discover comfort in the knowledge that they’re not facing grief alone. Families unite in a nurturing environment guided by skilled volunteers and professionals to share their emotions, memories, and stories.

Children take part in activities tailored to their age, helping them recognize and express their emotions, while adults engage in group conversations and gain access to resources to assist them through their grieving process. This approach fosters stronger familial support and encourages open communication, enabling families to journey through grief and healing together.

In addition, our Behavioral Health Program offers therapeutic mental health services to individuals and families aged five and above, catering to both children and adults in need of support.

Children & Teens

Children may hesitate to express their grief to surviving family members out of concern for causing them distress. Unfortunately, this can lead to children grieving in isolation.

Adults

Following the loss of someone close, individuals often experience a tumultuous array of emotions. Feelings such as sadness, loneliness, anger, yearning, and shock can wash over them, turning their world upside down.
