Baltimore Campus: 928 E North Avenue, Baltimore, MD. | Prince George's County Campus: 10210 Greenbelt Road, Suite 120, Greenbelt, MD.
On September 25th, 2024, from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM, Roberta’s House will observe the National Day of Remembrance for Homicide Victims with special commemorative events at our Baltimore and Prince George’s County campuses. Congress designated this day in 2007 to honor homicide victims and their families while recognizing the profound impact of murder on communities.
Roberta’s House will host two events on this important day:
Baltimore Campus: 928 E North Avenue, Baltimore, MD.
Featured speakers will include Maryland State Delegate Jacqueline T. Addison and the Baltimore City Council.
Candlelight Vigil: Participants will create luminaries for a candlelight vigil to remember the victims.
Sharing Memories: Attendees will have the opportunity to share the names and stories of their loved ones.
This annual observance, originally inspired by the tragic murder of 19-year-old Lisa Hullinger in 1978, highlights the importance of supporting survivors and offering healing to communities impacted by violence. Join Roberta’s House on September 25th, 2024, from 5:30-8:00 PM as we unite to honor victims and support their families.
